Vaccinations
The U.S. COVID-19 Vaccination Program started December 14, 2020. As of November 4, 2021, 426.7 million vaccine doses have been administered. General, about 222.6 million folks, or 67% of the full U.S. inhabitants, have obtained at the least one dose of vaccine. About 193.2 million folks, or 58.2% of the full U.S. inhabitants, have been absolutely vaccinated.* About 21.5 million extra/booster doses in absolutely vaccinated folks have been reported. As of November 4, 2021, the 7-day common variety of administered vaccine doses reported (by date of CDC report) to CDC per day was 1,510,524, a 55.8% enhance from the earlier week.
CDC’s COVID Information Tracker Vaccination Demographic Trends tab reveals vaccination traits by age group. As of November 4, 2021, 97.8% of individuals ages 65 years or older have obtained at the least one dose of vaccine and 85.6% are absolutely vaccinated. Greater than three-quarters (80.3%) of individuals ages 18 years or older have obtained at the least one dose of vaccine and 69.9% are absolutely vaccinated. For folks ages 12 years or older, 78.4% have obtained at the least one dose of vaccine and 68.1% are absolutely vaccinated.
