BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — The president and chief government officer of the College of Vermont Community, which incorporates hospitals in Vermont and New York, will retire from the place in September, officers stated.
Dr. John Brumsted has held the place for the reason that community was based in 2011, the Burlington Free Press reported.
The community consists of UVM Medical Heart in Burlington; Central Vermont Medical Heart in Berlin; and Porter Medical Heart in Middlebury; Alice Hyde Medical Heart in Malone, New York; Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, New York; and Elizabethtown Neighborhood Hospital in Elizabethtown, New York.
“It’s such an honor to be a part of well being care in Vermont and northern New York,” Brumsted stated in a written launch. “We’ve skilled and achieved a lot collectively, and we created one thing new — an built-in well being care system — to answer the wants of the sufferers we’re so privileged to serve.
