Embry Well being says it was compelled to shut 60 COVID-19 assessments websites in Arizona because of an absence of funding.
The Well being Assets and Companies Administration offered funding for uninsured individuals to get free COVID-19 assessments. On March 22, the HRSA ran out of cash.
Embry continued to fund testing for the uninsured till April 5.
As 60 testing Embry websites in Arizona have closed, 37 different check websites in different states have been closed due to the shortage of funding as effectively.
Embry began circulating a petition to maintain offering free assessments to individuals. It had over 31,000 signatures as of Wednesday evening.
There are 79 Embry test sites still working throughout Arizona.
